No matter what state a person works in, the experience of the on the job training they will receive from working for a private investigation firm will be invaluable.
If a person is not working for a private investigation firm in Texas and wishes to eventually become a private investigator with their own company, then they must first have experience working for a licensed firm before they can become an official Texas private investigator. Texas is very strict when it comes to the rules set forth for those who want to become a private investigator and working for a private investigation firm previously is one of them. The firms basically do the same type of work that the Florida private investigation firms do, so a person must be prepared to start at the bottom and work their way up.
